Ardurra is seeking a Construction Field Representative to join our Water/Wastewater staff in Miami, FL.

Primary Function

In this role you will work on infrastructure projects, observing contractor's construction activities, and reviewing work for compliance with drawings and specifications. Knowledge of, and ability to interpret, technical specifications, contract requirements, engineering drawings, and standard construction details are critical requirements of the position.  

Primary Duties

  • Responsibilities will include observing that the work is completed in general accordance with the drawings and specifications, daily field reporting, tracking contractor's installed quantities, witnessing tests, documenting test results and serving as liaison between engineer and contractor.
  • Typical projects involve the construction of municipal water and wastewater utilities and infrastructure using various construction methods, construction of water and wastewater treatment structures and equipment installation, as well as mechanical and structural rehabilitations.

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent along with Civil Engineering related coursework or certifications. An Associates Degree is preferred.
  • 3-15 years in the Construction field or Construction Management/Field Services
  • Background in Florida Building Code structural and/or plumbing inspections preferred.
  • Background in structural, mechanical, and piping construction required.
